Four French police officers have been charged in connection to the beating and racial abuse of a black music producer.
An officer is thought to have set off a flash grenade and a tear gas canister during the incident. It comes days after the incident in Paris which has intensified controversy over a new security law that would restrict the right to publish photos of on-duty police officers.
