On November 1, China cut import tariffs on 1,585 taxable items, a move that Beijing said would serve industrial upgrading, lower corporate costs and meet domestic demand. The cut also marks the fourth time China has lowered tariffs on imported goods this year. What do this latest tariffs cut mean for China’s domestic consumers and industries?
