Good enough? 2024 Mazda CX-90 review: Azami G50e | How the new BMW X7 rival doesn't go far enough |
|
The 2024 Mazda CX-90 is a big deal for the Japanese brand. As its all-new large SUV, the three-rower takes it into unchartered territory: the premium segment. Now, Mazda has been pushing upmarket for years now, but the CX-90 and its mid-size CX-60 sibling truly represent a new era for the marque.
Needless to say, the CX-90 has to be really good if it wants to compete with the likes of the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS and Audi Q7, among others. Thankfully, it ticks all the right boxes on paper, with six-cylinder petrol and diesel power available alongside a long list of standard equipment. In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Emily Agar and her family of three spend a week with the CX-90's petrol-powered flagship, the Azami G50e, to find out if it's really on the same level as the German Big 3. #Mazda #CX90 #Review -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:31 Pricing and features 01:31 Design 02:40 Practicality 05:15 Under the bonnet 05:38 Driving 06:58 Efficiency 07:23 Safety 07:57 Ownership 08:35 Verdict -- Read Emily's full review: https://bit.ly/3M1t489 Check out our Mazda CX-90 hub: https://bit.ly/3LptqFK Find more large SUVs: https://bit.ly/48RbfST Visit our family: https://bit.ly/3BS40vC -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/carsguide Like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/carsguide.australia Follow our Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/carsguideaus Follow our TikTok profile: https://www.tiktok.com/@carsguide.com.au Follow our Twitter profile: https://www.twitter.com/CarsGuide Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/carsguide-com-au |
