After 3 consecutive league defeats Poole were desperate for 3 points to keep their title aspirations on course.

Poole got off to the worst start when from a corner played short a couple of passes unmarked found the ball for Webb to smash home on only 6 minutes for the visitors.
For the next half hour Poole offered no real threat with poor passing and a lack of attacking play.
