video thumbnail

How do some foreigners feel when Singaporeans tell them to “Go home!”? How have some Singaporeans shown hospitality and warmth to foreigners?

About The DMZ Dinners

The DMZ Dinners started on a whim - "What if we got together a group of strangers to share a meal together and talk about issues that others may fight about?”. They are an experiment and an experience in communication across borders. We invite you to a friendly cease-fire where you can choose to lay down your arms, leave your trench and just eat together with someone from the other side who might think quite differently with you.

The DMZ Dinners is an initiative by The Thought Collective.
Season 1 (2015) was supported by the Singapore Kindness Movement.
Season 2 (2016) is a partnership with Harmony Centre, supported by Singapore Kindness Movement.

*note: The DMZ Dinners welcome all. We will make arrangements to specially cater to all participants' unique dietary requirements.
