First, pay attention to your diet. The best way to reduce the appearance of love handles is through healthy eating. Avoid processed and fast foods that are high in saturated fats and sugar. Instead, incorporate lean proteins like fish, lean meats, and beans into your diet, along with plenty of vegetables and fruits.

Second, exercise regularly. Start with low intensity activities like walking, swimming, or yoga in order to help stimulate your body's metabolism. As time allows, build in more challenging activities such as running, cycling, or weight-lifting. HIIT workouts are particularly effective for targeting belly fat.

Third, reduce your stress levels. Chronic stress has been linked to increased levels of cortisol – a hormone that can increase abdominal fat storage. Take active steps to reduce and manage your stress by practicing yoga, doing deep breathing exercises, or engaging in a favorite activity.
