बिहार बोर्ड के रिजल्ट में टॉपर बने विवेक की जिंदगी कुछ ऐसी ही है। बिहार बोर्ड के रिजल्ट में मजदूर का बेटा सेकंड टॉपर बना। 486 अंक लाकर नवादा की सानिया कुमारी भी सेकंड टॉपर बनी, लेकिन ज्यादा चर्चा में इतने ही अंक लाने वाले विवेक कुमार ठाकुर बने हुए हैं। विवेक मधुबनी की सिधपा पंचायत के बोन टोल निवासी श्याम सुंदर ठाकुर के दूसरे बेटे हैं। विवेक के दो भाई-दो बहन हैं। पिता श्याम सुंदर ठाकुर दिल्ली में ही मजदूरी करते हैं। उनके बड़े भाई दीपक कुमार ठाकुर दिल्ली में ही एक डेंटल डॉक्टर के यहां काम करते हैं। विवेक ने बताया, 'भाई और पिता पढ़ाई के लिए रुपए भेजते हैं। इसी की बदौलत, मैं पढ़ सका। अब मेरी तमन्ना IAS अफसर बनने की है।
