Climate change is an issue that affects us all. In his Talk, Ruchir Sharma explores one of the most powerful solutions to climate change, a solution that lies on our plates, and in the food we eat. Ruchir Sharma is the Head of Communications and Campaigns at ProVeg International, a food awareness organisation aiming to reduce the global consumption of animal products by 50% until the year 2040.

Ruchir Sharma is an international affairs and social entrepreneurship expert based in the European Union. Ruchir is currently Head of Communications at ProVeg International, an international food awareness organization across five countries – Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the U.K., with the aim of reducing the global consumption of animals by 50% by the year 2040. He is currently based in Germany where he was selected as an MIT Global Entrepreneur for 2017 and Indo-German Young Leader 2017.
