video thumbnail
Hesce Mourits is a former student from Stedelijk Gymnasiumm in Haarlem, the Netherlands. She combined her school days with the conservatory: music school. A real prodigy. In her talk she wants to get the message across that art and humanities are undervalued. Why do numbers and figures abstracts terms, preponderate imagination? Student in Haarlem. For her final examinations Hence Mourits composed the Judas Passion and had it performed by Carel den Hertog (orchestra) and Gerrit Maas (choir). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
