Dr Gabrielle Lyon: Daily requirement of animal protein for muscle mass, strength, and longevity

video thumbnail
Dr Lyon explains to Dr Paul Saladino how we need at least two daily boluses of 2.6g leucine, especially as we age, to maintain our critical muscle mass and strength. 2.6g leucine should come from 50g of animal protein. Plant protein is inferior. We can get animal protein from great sources, such as meat, wild salmon and other fish, seafood, eggs, and dairy.
