Welcome to BEHIND THE CHEVRONS – a new YouTube series where we dive into fandom. Football fandom. Football shirt fandom. We want to get behind the shirt to understand what makes a particular design matter to fans and players - and why wearing that shirt makes us more inclined to scream at the top of our lungs when our team scores a last-minute belter.

In the first episode, we’re diving into the UK shirt scene from a hummel perspective and looking at the various shirt designs that our UK clubs wear for the 2021/22 season. We’ll go around the country – from Premier League and down to League Two – together with shirt designer Robert Revell and hear the beautiful stories behind the shirts.
