In the 17th century longswords and greatswords were often simply called "swords" in Polish diaries, and it is obviously hard to set a border of size/length/weight under which a sword was a longsword and above which was a greatsword. In Polish language in that era they often used a term "wielki miecz", literally "a great sword" when giving advice what kind of weapon to use against a rapier, while on the pictures we can see longswords carried by servants behind their noble lords.
