In Deuteronomy 27:15-26 we find twelve curses pronounced which the Israelites had to proclaim over themselves.

When we come into a relationship with God we can come under a curse when we are disobedient. Bible teacher Derek Prince made a summation based on this scripture:

1. Idolatry
2. Disrespect parents
3. Treachery against neighbor
4. Injustice to weak/helpless
5. Illicit/unnatural sex
