The world is changing at an exponentially rapid pace. as a result, a new generation has emerged with expectation exceeding those of the previous generation. Those are the millennials (those born between 1977 - 1995). It is called Generation Z. Research tells us that this generation’s brains are wired much differently than yours and mine. They want "open spaces, natural light, brightly colored walls, collaboration-friendly work-spaces, and they want nothing to do with rows and lectures. They want to build, create, design, collaborate and explore WHY things happen." As the Internet (information and digital technology) has opened up their ability to find information on their own to simply discuss it with their peers it is our responsibility as teachers and educators to support their learning styles and simply make sure we give them the knowledge to safely travel down these pathways Theodore Josiha Haig is an American writer who has published five mystery suspense novels.
