UK National Insurance Tax Increase Explained - How Does It Affect You?


UK taxes have been increased. With national insurance rates being increased by 1.25% The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, along with Prime minister Borris Johnson raised your taxes going against their manifesto pledge to not increase tax rates. National Insurance Contributions will increase for everyone by 1.25% with the £36 billion over 3 years, or £12 billion per year being spent on the NHS backlog and to fund a reform of the social care system. Kier Starmer, the leader of the labour party is against the proposals and suggests there were a number of issues before the pandemic and this is just to cover up their mistakes.
