Hi guys, here is a tutorial How to Create an Animated Travel Map and a review about Pictramap app.
It was my first time using PictraMap, which allows to review the user experience. The review is not affiliated.

I decided not to put any background music so that those who prefer watching with a different speed could adjust it easily in the video settings(gear icon).

Re Part 2 - I tried to create a tutorial for how to use pictures in Pictramap, however to be honest the app is somewhat not user-friendly imo, at least when I tried editing my attempt to create maps with pictures, as much as I enjoyed parts of it, the video was way too long (my process of creating a map with a slideshow), so I decided not to post it for now until I figure that out.

Keep in mind as well that the app is quite tricky to use in terms of commercial use on youtube or for any other use, my vlog is not monetized of course, however to be able to monetize videos with pictramap(s) one has to have the paid account there in the month the video is posted on (there is no one-time payment commercial use option per video), so I do not find it reasonable to pay for that at this point, it did not seem super easy process to get back to free account. too much hustle imo.

Having said that I really appreciate the friendly Customer Support, one of the creators of the app patiently answered a few of my questions which I appreciate. There is a potential in this app, perhaps the creators will make it somewhat more user-friendly for small channels as well.

I think the app has a good potential. it is just a matter of finetuning some things and finding the right model for pricing and user audience.
