I remember when I felt totally disconnected and lonely, back in 2013, when my life fell apart. I lost wife, house, friends, city, and country. All in a matter of months. And it was frightening.

But the deeper truth is that the process of disconnection is necessary, especially when we’re going through a spiritual awakening.

So why aren’t we talking about this more?

There’s a lot of content out there on how we feel CONNECTED to the Universe during a spiritual awakening. And it’s true: deep connection IS a sign of spiritual awakening.

But so is DISCONNECTION.

And we need to be talking about this more because it’s one of the hardest signs to go through during our spiritual awakening. People feel lost and alone as they disconnect from their old realities.
