Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema won the Best Men’s Player of the Year award at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, while Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah won the Fans’ Player of the Year. Ballon d'Or Feminin winner Alexia Putellas was crowned Best Women’s Player of the Year, as Sergio Ramos and former England international Wayne Rooney were also honoured.
