Military US - The M1 Abrams is the third generation of the main battle tank produced by the United States. Its name is taken from General Creighton Abrams, Chief of Staff and Commander of the United States Armed Forces in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972. The M1 is heavily armed, heavily armored, and a highly mobile tank designed for an armored fighting vehicle.
