At least six people have been killed in Italy following the collapse of a glacier in the northern Dolomites. Glaciers in Europe's Alps are becoming more unstable and dangerous as rising temperatures linked to climate change are reawakening what were long seen as dormant, almost fossilised sheets of ice.
