Nick uncovers his journey devising and building StutterLess to support people who stutter, starting from his inspirations all the way to what his experiences mean more broadly. The lessons learned demonstrate the importance of empathy, the ability to understand others' experiences, to maximize the impact and reach of products today. Nick is a current senior at Foothill High School and an active participant in his community. He is the cofounder of Odyssay (prev. StutterLess), an app that provides a comprehensive treatment for stuttering. He is also the founder of an education program Learn.Python in Dublin, which aims to promote the value of questioning among middle-school students. In his free time, he loves learning languages, reading, and (trying to) lip-read. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
