Jennifer Thorson, a wife, mom and marathon runner almost died when she had an heart attack in 2011. Motivated to get the word to all women -- that heart disease is women's No. 1 killer and she is living proof it can happen to any one -- she became a Go Red For Women spokeswoman and volunteer and is helping save lives by sharing her story, her experience, the role being fit played in saving her life and the importance of listening to your body and your gut.
