Pamela Anderson's $11.8M Malibu Beach House

The "Baywatch" star has said "bye-bye" to the incredible home she remodeled a few years ago with a few signature touches. Watch to see inside.

Pamela Anderson has sold her Malibu beach house for $11.8 million, TMZ reported. The high-flying price is less than Anderson had originally sought. She listed her home in March for just under $15 million. But even though she accepted less, the actress still comes out well ahead of the purchase price of her longtime getaway. She picked up the appealing pad in 2000 for $1.8 million.

Anderson gave the modern abode a complete refresh in 2013, tapping the architect Philip Vertoch and the interior designer Josh Chryssanthou. She also added her own signature touches—namely a bathtub in the middle of her bedroom. Even factoring in remodeling costs, she is presumably pocketing a sizable profit.

The star has since moved on from the beach house, and has returned to Vancouver Island to work on a renovation of a waterfront home that she’s long owned. Thanks to her eye for design, the Malibu abode was a true standout—and is now ready to become a new owner’s sweet retreat.

Privately gated, the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom estate offers 2,752 square feet of living space, a glorious open plan, retractable glass walls, and natural light. The wide-open formal living area is adjacent to a gourmet kitchen, complete with slab island and counters, custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances. The floating staircase leads to the second-floor bedroom, which has a large custom-lit closet, a fireplace, Picasso-style tub, shower, and dry sauna. Glass doors open to a private balcony. Steps lead from there to an upper deck with ocean views, a seating area, and fireplace. Two more bedrooms and a retractable sunroof complete the upstairs level.

Outside, the custom-tiled pool with a bar area and outdoor entertaining spaces separates the main house from the guesthouse, and offers a classic Southern California indoor-outdoor lifestyle. The guesthouse comes with a downstairs lounge, plus an upstairs guest suite with a fireplace, spa tub, and even more views. Sustainable elements include solar panels and a sustainably built, irrigated vegetable garden. The owner also enjoys private beach and lagoon access, the listing notes.

In 2013, Anderson dipped her toe in the Malibu market, affixing a price tag of $7.75 million to the place. She eventually pulled the listing and chose to offer her beachside escape as a pricey rental. It bounced back onto the market in March.

Best-known for her role as C.J. Parker in the 1990s TV series “Baywatch,” Anderson, 54, also competed on the reality dance competition show “Dancing With the Stars,” as well as its French version. The animal rights activist has appeared in numerous ads for PETA.
