video thumbnail
This week I'm sharing with you some new Mauritius Travel Updates that were recently communicated. These are related to changes in covid restrictions in March 2022. It is becoming easier to travel to this small island and I discuss a few common questions that travellers frequently ask related to travel here.

Please note to be fully vaccinated these are the guidelines:
Be fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine recognised by the Mauritian authorities. The second dose, if applicable, must have been administered 14 days before arrival. One can only travel from day 15;
Have received a single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine at least 28 days before travel. One can only travel on day 29;
Have an official documentation proving that you have already had COVID-19 and have had either a 1 dose vaccination before contamination or have had a post-infection vaccination 14 days prior to travel (one can only travel from day 15) or have had a post-infection vaccination for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine 28 days prior to travel (one can only travel at day 29);
Be a minor aged under 18 years old who is currently exempted from vaccination and travels with his/her family.
