This is a very important skill in stoichiometry. It really is as easy as following a flowchart. The first step is to balance the chemical equation. For the purpose of this explanation, A will be the given and B will be what you're solving for. You divide the grams of A by its molar mass to get to moles of A. Then you multiply moles of A by mole fraction to get moles of B. Lastly, you multiply the moles of B by its molar mass to get to grams of B. By the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to convert grams to grams. If you liked my teaching style and are interested in tutoring, go to http://www.conquerchemistry.com/online-tutoring/ |
