In this Lecture, I will discuss the History of Ancient China and the Yellow River Valley Civilization that flourished in East Asia as the third oldest civilization in Part 1 of 2 segments.

Here are some basic questions on this topic that I will cover on the history of Ancient China:
What is the Yellow River? Why was the Yellow River often called "China's Sorrow"? What part of Asia did Chinese civilization begin? What were some famous inventions, technologies developed by the Chinese? What were the Shang and Chou Dynasties? What were Oracle Bones? Why were they important in China later? Who was Confucius? Why was he important to Asian culture later? What are some other major Chinese philosophical systems that developed in Ancient China?
