US Trade Representative Katherine Tai will unveil President Joe Biden's administration's long-awaited strategy for handling relations between the world's two largest economies. She's expected to say Beijing has not honoured its commitments under the phase one trade deal signed in 2020. The phase one trade deal was struck under the Trump administration. It called for Beijing to boost purchases of US farm and manufactured goods, energy and services until end-2021.
