The 2023 NBA trade deadline is set for Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. Which teams will be making deals ahead of that deadline, and how will that impact the landscape of the NBA heading into the 2023 playoffs?

Look no further than the Phoenix Suns, who are are acquiring star forward Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Feb. 9
2:07 a.m. ET: The Toronto Raptors' talks on forward OG Anunoby are rolling into the final hours of the trade deadline, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Kevin Durant trade to the Suns could escalate Anunoby's value among Western Conference teams pursuing an elite forward to defend Durant.

1:48 a.m. ET: The Brooklyn Nets are expected to explore trade scenarios for Jae Crowder ahead of today's 3 p.m. ET deadline, sources tell ESPN. The Nets get unprotected picks in 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2029 from the Suns.

1:10 a.m. ET: The Phoenix Suns are nearing a blockbuster trade to acquire Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant, sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Suns are sending Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks and a 2028 pick swap to the Nets for Durant and T.J. Warren, sources tell ESPN. Durant wanted the move and new owner Mat Ishbia pushed to get deal done tonight, sources told Wojnarowski.

12:37 a.m. ET: The Toronto Raptors are acquiring San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl for Khem Birch, a protected 2024 first-round draft pick and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Feb. 8
9:59 p.m. ET: The New York Knicks are acquiring Josh Hart from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Cam Reddish, Ryan Arcidiacono, Svi Mykhailiuk and a lottery-protected 2023 first-round pick that turns into four future second-round picks if not conveyed this year, sources told ESPN senior insider Adrian Wojnarowski. Hart is in his eighth NBA season and is averaging 9.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists this season.

8:12 p.m. ET: The Los Angeles Lakers are finalizing a deal to acquire D'Angelo Russell from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt from the Utah Jazz, sources told ESPN's senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The Lakers are sending Russell Westbrook and a lightly protected 2027 first-round pick to the Jazz, and Mike Conley and other picks to the Timberwolves. Russell began his career with the Lakers as the second-overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Westbrook's tenure with the Lakers comes to an end after one and a half seasons.
