White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is joined by Covid-19 response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha and chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci at a press briefing with reporters on Tuesday.

They will speak with reporters about a 6-week “sprint” to get more people vaccinated, particularly when it comes to the latest and most updated bivalent boosters, ahead of a possible winter surge.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is leaving the post in December, after nearly three years as the public face of the U.S. response to the pandemic. This is expected to be his last public briefing on the Covid-19 pandemic as White House chief medical advisor.
