And with an all-star snubbed veteran point guard in Mike Conley, reliable sharpshooters and playmakers like Bojan Bogdanovic and Joe Ingles, 3 and D stud Royce O’Neale, and a bunch of good role players, Quin Snyder has unleashed a dominant Utah Jazz team which is the only team in the top-5 offensive and defensive ratings so far. But how far can the Jazz take their success come playoff time? There will always be questions about their credibility as a playoff team especially after losing in game 7 against Denver last year. And with the Lakers and Clippers still favorites to win the West, we are yet to see the Jazz upset such powerhouses. But this 2021, will Utah’s highly-efficient outside shooting translate in the postseason? Can Donovan Mitchell play the role of a clutch superstar? Will Rudy Gobert become the best defender in the postseason? And will Jordan Clarkson still be the efficient spark plug off the bench in the playoffs? Are the Utah Jazz for real this season?
