The Florey's 2020 Virtual Student Open Day - Dementia theme

video thumbnail
The Florey's dementia theme accommodates more than 200 of the country’s top researchers who are working relentlessly to halt this dreadful group of diseases. Together they are dynamically generating new approaches to treatment and collaborations for a cure. Our researchers were part of the seminal discovery that the process of Alzheimer’s disease begins more than 20 years before symptoms occur. We now seek to find accurate ways to prevent, make an early diagnosis, and ultimately to find a cure. Hear from Professor Ashley Bush on the dementia theme's strengths and priorities.
