In this talk, Chris explained how culture is reflected in the traditional architecture of many countries and argued that in Nigeria our culture is not depicted in our Architecture due to the Nigerian diverse ethnic groups. Despite the effort of the Nigerian government by establishing Museum of Traditional Architecture, Chris opines that there is still need for the government and the private individuals to come together and showcase Nigerian culture through its architecture. Chris is an Architect, writer, and former radio presenter. As a new-age creative, he is driven by a burning desire to showcase the beauty in the everyday things within Nigeria and Africa.

He holds a Bachelors's and Master's degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Minna, Nigeria. However, this has not dimmed his desire to explore his passions.
Previously, he had volunteered as a radio presenter at the community radio station on Campus. Through this, he honed his talents as an OAP, getting involved in the lives of the local community with Minna and its environs.

He is making inroads into the building and real estate industry in Abuja, Nigeria. While working as an Architect, Chris still finds time to pursue other interests like being a contributing writer to Earth and Edifice, an upcoming Architectural and Lifestyle magazine. He is also an active participant in Cryptocurrency and believes in its ability to usher in a new financial paradigm for African youths. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
