Jada Pinkett Smith is coming clean about her complicated marriage to Will Smith. Following her reveal in People magazine on Wednesday, "Today" show shared a snippet from the 52-year-old actress' upcoming NBC News special with Hoda Kotb. Jada confirmed to the journalist that she and Will have been separated since 2016. The former "Red Table Talk" host details more about their relationship in her upcoming memoir "Worthy," which will hit bookstore stands on Oct. 17, but she shared with Hoda why the pair weren't honest about their separation with the world. "Just not being ready not, still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in partnership. In regard to how do we present that to people, you know, and we hadn't figure that out," she said. Jada also reflected on how they ended things and why they couldn't come to get a legal divorce from each other. The "Girls Trip" star's revelation comes as a shock, as the pair have weathered many public storms together over the years.
