Vijayakumar and Nasser - a music director duo responsible for many hit songs in the past become rivals later. Surya, Vijayakumar's son and Jyothika, Nasser's daughter fall in love. They know about their fathers' enemity. But they both are determined to get married only with their consent. They think, the way to go about this is to make their fathers in law to like them. Surya becomes the driver of Nasser and Jyothika poses as the nurse for Vijayakumar's ailing wife. Surya and Jyothika manage to outwit their parents in pursuit of their goal. The rest of the storyline is about how the cat is let out of the bag, how the estranged music director duo reconcile and agree to the marriage of Surya and Jyothika.
