A flypast by the French air force left Tom Cruise thrilled at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 18).
The aerobatic display by the Patrouille de France, conducted as a tribute to Cruise, brought a rush of adrenaline as the star walked the red carpet for a screening of "Top Gun: Maverick," a sequel to the original 1986 fighter jet action blockbuster. Cruise said: "That's what I'm talking about" and pumped his fist as eight jets flew overhead leaving behind a trail of blue, white and red smoke. The star is attending Cannes for the first time in three decades, where he will receive a special tribute by the festival. ........................................................................................
