In a world of Arijit Singh, Mika Singh, and Badshah, I am and will always be a Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, and Kailash Kher girl. While teveryone is grooving to the latest Bollywood tunes, I am still swooning to the soulful melodies that I grew up with. Because, to me, THAT is music. THOSE are lyrics. THAT is melody. (No offense to any of the above mentioned artists or their fans....simply stating personal preference).

Arziyan is a masterpiece of a composition by the legendary and evergreen A R Rahman, which has been immortalised by the beauty and soulfulness of Javed Ali's voice, and the power and precision of Kailash Kher's voice. This song is like meditation for me. And I have a soft corner for Indian classical music anyway.
