Hello, welcome back. Today we will give an overview of The NGOCSW Forum.

Nearly 6,000 NGO representatives and growing participate in the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) each year. It is one of the most attended Commissions of the UN.

The NGO Forum during CSW is organized by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York, or the acronym NGO CSW/NY, and occurs at the same time as the UN CSW, but takes place off of the UN grounds. The committee is over 200 member organizations strong. All are concerned with the human rights of women and girls globally. NGO CSW/NY is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization funded largely by individual contributions.

Our forum is over 400 events rich: workshops, panels, advocacy trainings, caucuses, briefings, conversation circles and many exciting opportunities to meet NGO members from all points of the earth!! Learn about the imaginative and creative problem solving going on everywhere! The forum does not require a UN pass, and is open and free to all NGO’s and civil society representatives.
