I started this 3 days before it went up, it was by far the most challenging (with over 50 audio tracks) and fastest I've ever done a video of this caliber. I really wanted to give this a big feeling to it so I spent a lot of time programming virtual instruments and synths. My favourite part starts at 2:51, I just really love the synth bass underneath that adds so much depth to that section. This song really felt like a progressive song in so many ways. First of all no two sections are the same and secondly the odd time signatures and changes in tempo. Every section has a different tempo and time signature going from 3/4 to 5/4 to 7/4 at different points. It was very refreshing to do something like this because sometimes the repetitive verse-chorus-verse-chorus pattern gets boring.
