In this TEDx talk, Lauren explains how we misunderstand our roles in helping the environment and how we can each truly contribute to saving our planet. There are many misconceptions about what is good or bad for the environment, yet we collectively think we know how to help. This is the environmental paradox. Lauren Rigal is 11 years old. She spends her time writing, reading, studying geography, learning and sharing knowledge of history, and playing lacrosse, tennis, and piano. She is an artist and a singer and is passionate about music, especially classical. Lauren volunteers and donates to veterans and children's causes.
