This webinar explored the complimentary roles that healthy relationship, positive parenting, and economic stability play in serving social service delivery systems as part of a holistic approach to strengthening individuals and families. Speakers educated safety-net service providers and other stakeholders on the role of healthy relationship education in reducing tension and improving communication between parents; shared strategies and promising practices regarding integration of healthy relationship education and parenting skills into service delivery systems to support families in their efforts to achieve economic stability; discussed experiences of dads participating in responsible fatherhood and healthy relationship education programming in an effort to strengthen relationships with their children; and highlighted resources and programs funded by the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) to support individuals, families, and communities in creating positive environments for children.
