PMQs: Labour says government is 'missing in action in the fight against crime' |
|
At PMQs, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party Angela Rayner addressed new antisocial measures whilst seeming to reference the ongoing bullying investigation into Dominic Raab.
She continues, pointing out that "1.6% of rapists face being charged for their crime" before adding: "On his watch, rapists are left to roam the streets. So will he apologise to those victims who will never get justice because of his failures?" The Deputy PM responded, saying if Labour was serious about the issue they wouldn't have voted against longer sentences for dangerous, violent and sexual offenders in the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act.
