Ellen Degeneres has been under a lot of heat recently for how she’s treated some of her staff, and how some of her executive producers have treated the staff. In short, it’s not good for Ellen. But what people sometimes forget is that Ellen’s “eccentric personality” has backfired in other ways as well. Including her rubbing certain celebrities the wrong way so that they honestly had to stand up to Ellen and what she was doing. Or correcting her when she was making a huge mistake. Picture this for a moment if you will. You’re former first lady Michelle Obama, you have been in the White House for 8 years and you have been the peak of class, dignity, and respect. Just about everyone likes you. Then, after you leave the White House you’re invited to the Ellen Degeneres Show to have some fun. You agree thinking that it’s going to be a standard interview...until Ellen reveals that you two are going shopping instead. And not clothes shocking or anything fashion related, she was going to take you food shopping...because you’re “out of practice’. Yep, this happened.
This was a little bit of a tit-for-tat situation. Because when Dakota was on Ellen’s show, it was just after her birthday party, a party that Ellen wasn’t at. Ellen noted that she hadn’t been invited to the party...but Dakota noted that not only wasn’t this true, Ellen was invited...but didn’t say to her or anyone why she couldn’t come.
