This panel discussion is part of the Humanities Moments project, an initiative created by the National Humanities Center to explore the intersection between the humanities and transformative moments in our individual and public lives. Panelists include Ric Burns (documentary filmmaker, writer, producer), Louise Mirrer (President and CEO, New-York Historical Society), Daniel Weiss (President and CEO, Metropolitan Museum of Art), and Zack Winokur (stage director, choreographer, dancer). This panel was moderated by David Rubenstein, co-founder and co-Executive Chairman of The Carlyle Group.
