Ya imam al rusli ya sanadi,
Anta babullahi mu'tamadi
Fabidun yahya wa aa-khirati
ya Rasullulah hihud biyadee

O leader of all Prophets, o you my Support,
You are the door to Allah, the one on whom I rely.
In this my dunya and in my afterlife,
O Messenger of Allah, take me by my hand.

Kawsamal binnajmi heenahawaa
Mal mua'fawaas saqeemusawa
Fagh la-i'l kawnaini a'n-kaseewa
Hubbi mawlal 'ur-bi wal a'jami

An oath was sworn "By the star when it declines",
Good health and sickness are not alike.
So divest yourself of the two universes, except for
Love for the Master of the Arabs and non-Arabs.

Say-yeedus sa daa timeem mu dhori
Ghothu ahlil badwee wahadhori
Sohibul ahyati wathu wari
Manba'ul ahka miwal hikami

Like a moon, good and wholesome is his heart,
his character and his way of life.
He is the most pure and and select of all people,
A righteous witness for people of right and wrong.

Ma raw ath 'ainun walaysa taraw
Mithla dhohafeel waraw basharaw
Ghoyru man fawkawl tharaw atha-raw
Taw hirul aghlakee wal sheeyami
No eye has seen, or ever will see,
a human being the like of Taha.

Pure in character and noble personal traits.
