5. Mikelle Biggs

Minutes passed and still no truck. 9 yr old Kimberly Biggs felt cold and was getting annoyed as she stood on the street corner of their neighborhood in Mesa, Arizona on January 2, 1999. She told her big sister, Mikelle Biggs who was (11), that he was going back inside to get a coat. It was dusk but the sisters were waiting by the street intersection for the ice cream truck to arrive.

It was the first time in awhile since Colleen Nick and her eldest child, Morgan had had any mother-daughter bonding time. On June 9, 1995, the two headed to Alma, Arkansas, a small town 30 minutes away from their home to watch a Little League Baseball game.
