Claudia Tamez is an ecologist and graduate student, studying wetland restoration at UT Brownsville. In addition to her academic profile, Claudia has always been an avid bicyclist. In 2010 she co-founded the Brownsville Bike Brigade and has helped grow the biking culture here in the Rio Grande Valley. She discusses the challenges of starting a bike movement.
