At least two people were injured after an avalanche swept across a ski trail near the Swiss town of Andermatt on Thursday. At least four others managed to escape unharmed. Footage from the site shows the aftermath of the avalanche with rescuers, helicopters and snowslides deployed on the site to search for people who could be trapped under the snow. Police later said no other victims were involved in the incident. The two injured people were flown to nearby hospitals.
