Sign #1: He's actively trying to make plans with you

Okay, booty calls don't count. But if a man is going out of his way to plan dates with you in the future, that means he wants to invest his time and energy in you. In the early stages of dating, you want him to do most of the initiating rather than you because this positions you as the prize he's trying to win over.

So if he's making plans with you, great.

If he's not, time to say, "NEXT!" and explore other options.

Sign #2: He finds subtle ways to touch you

One of the best ways for a man to build a connection with a woman and show her he's interested is to break that touch barrier.

Now, there's a wide spectrum where guys fall here. Some fall on the creepy end, while others fall at the opposite, totally awkward end.

But if he is making an effort to touch you (think, lightly brushing your arm, holding your hand, brushing your hair away from your face), that's a great sign that he likes you.

Sign #3: When he is with you he is fully present

Have you ever been out to lunch with someone (girl or guy) and noticed they weren't really there with you? Maybe their eyes are wandering around the room, or they're checking their phone a hundred times.

When a man likes a woman, he will give her undivided attention. His phone will be out of sight (and on silent mode). His eyes will be on you. He will actively listen to what you say, ask you questions, and be fully present in the moment.

If he's not, then he isn't worth your time.

Sign #4: He opens up his world to you

Is he keen for you to meet his closest friends (and not just in a boozy party setting), business partners, and family? No man will do this unless he sees a real future with a woman. So if a man is trying to share his world with you, there's a strong chance he still likes you.

BUT, resist the urge to move too quickly here. Pacing is important and is also what I call Little Love Step #5.

Sign #5: He wants to see you during the day

You're not in a relationship if you only see this guy late at night and usually in the bedroom. You're in a situationship.

A man who likes you and wants to build a real connection will want to see you in the day, take you out, and share new experiences and adventures.

One sign he's not interested in anything serious: If he tells you, he's not ready for a relationship.

Actions always speak louder than words, except for when these words fall out of a guy's mouth.

When a guy tells you he's not ready for commitment, believe him. Don't think you're that one girl who will be able to change his mind. You're not.
