FIXED - Vizio won't turn on, blank screen, no picture; M50-C1 symptoms & main board troubleshooting

Vizio TV would not turn on. The only thing that turned on was the power light, which would then dim down (just like a good working tv). Otherwise, the TV was completely dead and unresponsive. There is no picture. There is no visible menu. Power light suggests power supply is ok so the next step is to try to determine if the issue is in the inverter board, main board, tcon board or LED backlights. If you turned the tv on again, the power light would blink once pause and then blink 16 times. The next logical board was the main board. This may also apply to Models M43-C1, M49-C1, M50-C1, M65-C1 & M75-C1. It is my understanding, Vizio does not use blink codes to indicate specific faults so perhaps the blinks are meaningless. I do know that on a good working tv, the power light does NOT blink.

Be sure you use replacement parts with the EXACT same numbers on the circuit board. Do not buy replacement boards based strictly on your TV model number.

UPDATE: I did try to fix my old original failed board that had the symptoms described in the video by replacing the U202 eeprom. A new eeprom did not fix my particular problem.
