Swiss downhill specialist William Besse achieved his first World Cup victory downhill in Panorama in British Colombia, Canada at the end of the season 1991/92. It was extremely tight race, second place was shared by Austrian Günther Mader and Swiss Daniel Mahrer, they missed Besse by smallest possible margin, just 0.01 seconds!
